Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting our users’ data and privacy. This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use the Service and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

  • Platform refers to Peregrine Ship, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform hosted and operated by the Company that offers the Services.

  • Service refers to any and all services, materials and contents offered on or through our Website/Platform.

  • Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals engaged by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.

  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

  • Website refers to any and all website hosted and operated by the Company and/or any of its Affiliate, accessible from https://peregrineship.com.

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable. Your will be interpreted accordingly.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

You confirm that the Personal Data provided to the Company or collected by the Company with your authorization must be authentic, correct, complete, legal and effective, and should be updated in time for any alteration of such information. You should be responsible for relevant liabilities and consequences for providing illegal, inauthentic, incorrect, or incomplete Personal Data and you agree that the Company has the right to stop providing Service to you in such cases.

You shall be liable for all contents uploaded by you, including but not limited to reviews, used items, texts, pictures, videos, etc. Such content is delivered by the Company for sharing purposes, which doesn't mean that the Company agrees with it or has verified the authenticity of it.

Types of Data Collected

i) Personal Data

While registering an Account or using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Identification information, such as your name, address, and phone numbers.

  • Payment information and billing information (payment method details).

  • Your location information.

  • Comments and emails to us.

  • Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of services you have purchased from us.

  • Personal description and photograph in your profile.

  • Information and documents regarding identity, including Social Security and driver's license numbers.

  • Corporate and financial information.

  • Usage Data.

We also need certain Personal Data about our users’ customers such as the customer’s shipping address, phone number and the recipient’s full name for the purpose of rendering order fulfillment services at your request and instruction. In such case, you are the data controller, and we are a processor. We will process your customer’s Personal Data only in accordance with your documented lawful instructions. You represents and warrants that you have complied with all applicable privacy and data protection laws in the collection and provision to the Company and its sub-processors of the customer’s Personal Data in connection with the Services, including you have obtained and will continue to obtain, all consents in connection with the collection and provision of the customer’s Personal Data. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold the Company harmless from and against any third party claims arising as a result of your breach of any of the foregoing warranties.

ii) Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When you access the service by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device.

  • Purchase one of services;

  • Complete one of our online forms to receive our reports and case studies;

  • Download or otherwise access one of our e-books, magazines, videos;

  • Contact our customer service;

  • Request marketing to be sent to you; or

  • Give us some feedback.

ii) Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service. The technologies we use may include:

  • Identity and contact data from publicly available sources such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social networking sites.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.

  • To manage your Account: to manage your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data you provide can give you access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to you as a registered user.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.

It is possible that we could receive information pertaining to persons under the age of 18 by the fraud or deception of a third party. If we are notified of this or otherwise become aware that we have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18 without verification of parental consent, we will, where required by law to do so, immediately obtain the appropriate parental consent to use that information or, if we are unable to obtain such parental consent, we will delete the information from our servers.

If we need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your information and your country requires consent from a parent, we may require your parent's consent before we collect and use that information.

Sensitive Personal Data

“Sensitive Personal Data” is information about an individual that reveals their racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic information, biometric information, information concerning health or information concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation.

We do not knowingly or intentionally collect Sensitive Personal Data from individuals. If, however, you inadvertently or intentionally transmit Sensitive Personal Data to us, you will be considered to have explicitly consented to us processing that Sensitive Personal Data under the applicable data laws.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

How to Access, Correct, Update, or Delete Your Personal Data

You can access or modify your Personal Data and modify your preferences.

You may also request to stop receiving electronic or postal notifications from us, or request deleting the Personal Data that we have collected about you.

To exercise any of the rights listed above, you may contact us by email as indicated in Section 13 below. Once we receive your deletion request, we will review it and process it accordingly. You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your Personal Data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that Personal Data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

Please note, however, that we may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
