Sync your Shopify products and variants

Import your Shopify products, with every variant, into Peregrine.

By Peregrine Ship Updated Jun 23, 2026

Sync Shopify Products imports your Shopify products, and all of their variants, into Peregrine so they can be matched to suppliers and fulfilled. It is optional, since Peregrine also creates any unsynced product automatically when its first order arrives, but running it after you connect a store, and again whenever you add or change products, keeps your full catalog ready to match in advance.

Watch the sync, then follow the steps below.

Sync your products

  1. Open your dashboard and go to Stores
  2. Find your store and click Edit
  3. Click Sync Shopify Products

Common questions

Do I have to sync before I can sell?

No. If an order comes in for a product you have not synced, Peregrine fetches it from Shopify and creates it automatically, then fulfills it. Syncing just imports your catalog up front so it is ready to match.

Do variants come across?

Yes. Every variant imports as its own line, for example each size and color, so an order routes to the exact item and stock and pricing stay aligned per variant.

What about products I add later?

Run Sync Shopify Products again and the new items import alongside the rest.

How often should I sync?

Whenever your Shopify catalog changes. A fresh sync keeps both sides matched.

Next: pull in your orders

With your catalog synced, sync your Shopify orders so existing orders get fulfilled.
