Dropshipping Calculator

Know what a product costs to land, and what you keep, before you sell it.

How it works

  1. Start a search three ways: by image, from your own products, or by pasting any Shopify product URL.
  2. Pick your destination market. Shipping is priced to that country, not averaged.
  3. See what comes back: real photos, real options, and real variants from 30,000+ verified factories.
Dropshipping calculator search step: paste a product link, upload a photo or pick a catalog product, choose the destination market, and calculate landed cost
  1. Read your landed cost with COGS and shipping split out, per unit.
  2. Simulate a multi-item order and watch the landed cost move.
Dropshipping calculator sourcing options: matched factory options with landed prices covering product and shipping to the destination market
  1. Set your margin and every variant prices at once.
  2. Publish to your Shopify store in four steps, cost locked to the quote.
  3. Save every quote to your quote list and come back to it later.
Dropshipping calculator landed cost breakdown: product cost and shipping split out, estimated landed cost per unit, and profit with margin at the set retail price

Why the numbers hold

One pricing path

The calculator runs through the same pricing path your invoice runs through. The quote you see before you sell is the cost you carry after.

Priced to your destination

Shipping is quoted on the line the product would actually travel for its class, to the country your customer lives in.

Factory-direct

Product costs come from verified factories, not from a middleman's quote. The margin you calculate is the margin you keep.

Dropshipping Calculator FAQ

What is a dropshipping calculator?

A dropshipping calculator is a tool that estimates the landed cost of a product, the product cost plus shipping, and your profit margin at a given retail price, before you list the product in your store. Peregrine’s version matches your product against 30,000+ verified factories and prices real variants to your destination market.

How is dropshipping profit margin calculated?

Profit margin = ((retail price minus landed cost) divided by retail price) x 100. If a product lands at $4.83 per unit and sells for $9.99, the profit is $5.16 per unit and the margin is 51.7%. The calculator does this per variant automatically as you set a retail price.

What is a good profit margin for dropshipping?

Typical dropshipping margins run 10-15% when sourcing from open marketplaces, and healthy stores aim well above that. Sourcing factory-direct is the biggest single lever, because a middleman’s margin comes straight out of yours.

Is the Peregrine Dropshipping Calculator free?

Yes. It is included on the Free plan at $0 a month. Search by image, from your catalog, or with a product link, and price real variants to your market.

How accurate are the numbers?

Quotes run through the same pricing path as billing, so the quote you see before you sell matches the cost you carry after. Shipping is priced to your destination on the line the product would actually travel.

Can I publish a calculated product to my Shopify store?

Yes. Set your margin, and every variant prices at once. Publishing runs in four steps, with the cost locked to the quote you approved, so nothing silently reprices between the calculator and your storefront.
