How shipping from China to Brazil actually works.
Peregrine ships from China to Brazil in 9 to 14 days door-to-door, with the local last-mile carrier on every customer tracking page. Built for dropshipping and DTC brands on Shopify, with optional 3PL fulfillment and custom packaging for higher-volume operators. The lane covers the demand picture, the carrier, the customs math, and who is already shipping it.
The market
Brazil is the biggest ecommerce market in Latin America with 215M people and a Shopify base climbing fast across beauty, electronics, and lifestyle. Operationally the most complex destination on the network: get Remessa Conforme right and São Paulo clears in 2 to 4 days.
Local last-mile carrier on every package
Correios handles residential last-mile across all 26 states, with Jadlog and Loggi as alternates for tracked metro coverage in São Paulo, Rio, and Belo Horizonte. The tracking page renders Portuguese-language scan events (Postado, Em trânsito, Entregue) and CPF capture at checkout is mandatory.
De-minimis USD 50 (Remessa Conforme), VAT ICMS
Brazil's Remessa Conforme regime (since August 2024) requires CPF on every parcel and 17% federal tax pre-collected at checkout under the USD 50 simplified lane. Above USD 50, full 60% Imposto de Importação plus ICMS 17-19% kicks in, so most DTCs cap SKUs under the ceiling.
Already on the lane
Brazilian Shopify stores from 50-a-day operators to DTCs sending 500+ parcels daily across beauty and accessories, mostly capped under the USD 50 SKU ceiling that keeps parcels in the simplified Remessa Conforme lane.
Three speed tiers, six product categories.

How long does shipping from China to Brazil take?
Door-to-door averages 11 days. Range is 9 to 14 days, with São Paulo and Rio landing first (9 to 11 days), the South and Southeast 10 to 12 days, the North and Northeast 12 to 14 days. This is the longest transit lane of any country on the Peregrine network, and operators should communicate that range clearly at checkout.
What is Remessa Conforme and how does it affect my orders?
Remessa Conforme (Compliant Shipping) is the Brazilian customs regime introduced in August 2024 for all China-direct ecommerce parcels. Under USD 50 per shipment, the store pre-collects 17% federal tax at checkout, remits via the simplified portal, and the parcel clears São Paulo customs in 2 to 4 days. Without Remessa Conforme certification, parcels go to legacy clearance and can sit for 3 to 6 weeks. The dashboard handles registration and pre-collection per order.
Why does every Brazilian order need a CPF?
CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas) is the Brazilian individual tax ID, required on every customs declaration for parcels entering the country. Parcels without a valid CPF are rejected at customs with no exception. The Shopify integration collects CPF at checkout via a custom field, validates the format before order creation, and the dashboard rejects orders missing the field rather than dispatching them.
Will my customer see Correios on tracking?
Yes, in most cases. Correios handles the bulk of residential delivery, with Portuguese-language scan events on the tracking page (Postado, Em trânsito, Entregue). Jadlog and Loggi appear for tracked metro coverage in São Paulo, Rio, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, and Porto Alegre on Pro and Brand tiers.
What about returns from Brazil?
Brazilian returns are operationally hard and most stores opt for a refund-without-return policy on lower-value items. For higher-value SKUs, returns route to a São Paulo reverse-logistics partner and the recipient drops at a Correios agency. Expect 7 to 14 days for the parcel to land at the hub, plus restock or refund per your policy. Returns do not go back to China.
