Sending stock to our warehouse
Tell us stock is coming, before it arrives.
What an inbound is
An inbound is you telling us stock is on the way, before it arrives.
It matters because a shipment that turns up unannounced has nothing to be counted against. Creating the inbound first means the warehouse knows what to expect, from whom, and for which account, and your stock goes live against your products instead of sitting on a floor.
If you source on demand and hold no stock, you do not need this. We buy each item as the order comes in.
If you hold stock with us, whether from our factories or from a supplier of your own, every shipment starts here.
Create an inbound
Press Create Inbound on the Inventory page. It is a four-step wizard.
1. Store. Pick which of your connected stores the stock belongs to.
2. Products and quantities. Search by product name or SKU, pick the product, then set a quantity against each variant. Add as many lines as the shipment contains.
3. Tracking. Enter the tracking number for the shipment coming to us. This is what lets the warehouse match a box on the dock to your account, so get it right.
4. Review. Check the lines and submit. You will see a confirmation that the inbound has been created.
Do this when the shipment leaves, not when it lands.
Shortcut: on the Inventory table, each product row has an action that starts an inbound with that SKU already filled in. Quicker than searching for it again when you are restocking something specific.
Receiving, and what we check
On arrival, every item is checked and photographed. The count is recorded against your inbound, and stock goes live against your products.
If something is wrong, we tell you rather than quietly absorbing it:
- Short count. What we received against what you declared.
- Damage from your supplier. Flagged to you with photographs, so you can take it up with them.
- Damage caused by us. Compensated at full item value.
- Loss. Prevented by the system in the ordinary course. In the event it happens, compensated at full item value.
The photographs matter more than they sound. If a factory ships you 480 of 500, or ships them scuffed, you find out on arrival with evidence attached, rather than three weeks later when a customer complains.
Getting it there
Send inbound stock to the warehouse address shown in the app. If you cannot find it, ask support and we will send it with the contact details.
Two things to get right:
- The tracking number goes on the inbound. Without it we cannot match the box to you.
- Send the inbound before the shipment lands, not after.
Storage
Storage is free while your stock is moving on normal order flow.
If a specific item has no orders for 90 days or more and stays at zero, storage starts on that item at $50 per pallet per month. It is aimed at stock that has stopped selling and is holding space, not at your working inventory.
Frequently asked
Can I send stock from my own factory rather than yours? Yes. Create the inbound the same way, with quantities and the tracking number.
How long from arrival until I can sell it? Stock goes live once it is received and counted. Ask support if you have a launch date and need it prioritised.
What if the count is short? We record what actually arrived and tell you the difference, with photographs.
Do I have to send everything at once? No. Create one inbound per shipment.
Can I send stock for more than one store? Yes. Stock is held once at the account level and serves any of your connected stores.
What if I want my stock back? Tell us where to send it. You pay transport and pallet handling. No penalty, and no minimum period.
