Free, Pro and Brand: choosing a plan

You do not need a paid plan to start

The Free plan covers unlimited orders. No setup fee, no minimum volume, no monthly commitment, and no card required to create an account.

You can sign up, connect a store, get products priced, and ship real orders without paying a subscription. Plenty of merchants run on Free indefinitely, and there is no order count that forces you off it.

What you pay per order is the cost of the order itself: product plus shipping, with processing already included. That does not change between plans. SeeWhat it costs to start.

When to look at a paid plan

Not because you have hit a limit, but because something on a higher tier is worth money to you.

Open Subscription Plans in the app. The tiers available to your account are loaded live, with monthly and annual billing, and your current plan marked. Annual works out cheaper per month.

Because the list is tied to your account, the app is the accurate place to compare. Anything you read elsewhere can be out of date.

Plan billing is separate from your balance

Worth understanding, because two different kinds of money are involved.

Your plan is a subscription, and plan changes are billed through your Shopify subscription rather than taken from your Peregrine balance.

Your balance funds orders: the product and the shipping. SeeAvailable and Occupied.

Changing plan does not touch your balance, and a subscription does not fund orders. Keep the balance topped up regardless of which plan you are on.

Changing or cancelling

From Subscription Plans: pick a tier and confirm, or use Cancel subscription. Your current plan is labelled so you can see what you are moving from.

Cancelling the subscription does not close your account or touch your balance.

Before you upgrade for a specific feature

Check it is live. Some things are still being built, and a plan page is not always the fastest thing to update. If a particular capability is the reason you are upgrading, ask us whether it is available today.
