Orders & Fulfillment

Add an order manually

For sales that did not come from a connected store.

By Peregrine Ship Updated Aug 22, 2026

When you need this

Most orders arrive on their own from Shopify. You only add one by hand when there is no order to sync:

  • A sale made off your store. Direct message, phone, market stall, invoice.
  • A replacement or a gift you want shipped from your stock.
  • A sample to yourself, a customer, or a creator.
  • An order that did not import, and you need it moving now rather than after we diagnose the sync.

That last one is a workaround, not a fix. Add the order so the customer is not waiting, then sort out why it did not import:Orders are not reaching Peregrine.

Add one

Open Orders and press Add order.

Pick the product. Search by product name or SKU, and set the quantity.

Enter the customer. First name, last name, email and phone are required. Company and Tax ID are optional.

Enter the delivery address. Address line 1, city, country and zip code are required. Address line 2 and State or Region are optional.

Submit, and the order moves through the same pipeline as a synced one, funded from the same balance, with a tracking code at the end.

Get the address right

A manually entered address has not been validated by a checkout, so nothing has caught a typo before you.

  • Complete street, including apartment or unit
  • Postcode in the destination's own format
  • A phone number where the destination expects one
  • A country we can actually serve. See Where we ship

An address problem is the most common reason an order goes Abnormal, and manual orders are where it happens most.

Do not create a duplicate

If you are adding an order because one did not import, check first that it genuinely is not there. Widen the date range and clear the store filter: seeFind one order fast.

Two orders for one customer means two parcels and two charges, and you pay for both.
