What we check before a parcel leaves
What is checked, and the evidence you can ask for.
Two points where things are checked
On arrival. Every item coming into the warehouse is checked and photographed. The count is recorded against your inbound, and anything wrong is flagged to you rather than quietly absorbed.
Before dispatch. Orders are processed individually rather than batched, so each parcel is handled on its own rather than as part of a run.
What gets caught on arrival
- Short counts. What we received against what you declared.
- Damage from your supplier. Photographed and flagged to you, so you can take it up with them with evidence.
- Condition on arrival, recorded before it enters your stock.
The photographs are the useful part. If a factory ships 480 of 500, or ships them scuffed, you find out that week with proof, rather than three weeks later from a customer complaint.
Ask for the photos
QC photographs are available on request, and can be put on a regular schedule if you would rather not ask each time.
Worth doing if you are holding stock, launching something new, or working with a supplier you have not used before. Ask support to set it up.
When something is wrong anyway
Nothing catches everything. What is covered:
- Wrong item shipped: refund for that item, plus the correct one reshipped at no extra shipping cost.
- Damaged in transit: replacement, and your customer does not need to send anything back.
- Stock we hold, damaged or lost by us: full item value.

If a fault repeats on one product, tell us rather than reporting them one at a time. A pattern is a different problem from an incident: it usually means a batch or a pack spec, and both are fixable at source. A fragile item breaking regularly needs a different pack, not a stream of replacements.
What you can do at your end
Sample before you commit. SeeHow samples work.
Be specific about what matters. If the colour has to match, say so and give a reference. A spec nobody was given cannot be checked against.
Ask for QC photos on your first run with any new product or supplier.
Frequently asked
Is every item opened and inspected? Every item arriving into the warehouse is checked and photographed. Orders are then picked and packed individually rather than in a batch run. Can I get photos of my stock in the warehouse? Ask support. Can I set my own quality standard? Tell us what matters and be specific. What if a whole batch is wrong? Tell us immediately so it can be stopped, rather than reporting units one at a time. Do you check goods sent from my own factory? Yes. Every inbound is checked and photographed.
